She double majored in Media Arts & Design with a concentration in Corporate Communications and Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations. At JMU, she was involved in Lambda Pi Eta, the Public Relations Student Society of America and the JMU Equestrian Club. She studied abroad in Ireland in the summer of 2008.
